Here are some expectations I have for students in my classes.
Required materials:
- protractor
- compass
- ruler
- calculator
- notebook with pockets for loose papers or 3 ring binder
- pencils and eraser
- graph paper
Students should arrive on time, ready for class. Homework should be completed and required materials should be ready to be used when class time begins.
If a student must miss class time, it is the responsibility of that student to contact the instructor or a classmate to find out what was missed. The assignments will be posted on the classroom white board as well as online on this website.
Late assignments will be accepted if they are turned in within a reasonable time frame though points will be removed. Late homework is only accepted following an excused absence.
Students should always be respectful of themselves and others.

Honors Option:
An honors option for geometry is available to interested students.
Requirements and other information:
- Students must submit, in writing (email or otherwise), a request to be placed in honors.
- Students will be expected to complete additional assignments, will have more difficult assessments, and will complete an additional project each trimester.
- Additional content will require students to be able to learn independently, coming to the instructor with questions.
