HONORS
In order to qualify for the honors option in Geometry, a student must receive no less than a B+ as a trimester grade. The student will also complete additional homework assignments and projects as directed by the instructor. Finally, the student will work on their own to master additional material that will be included on quizzes and tests for honors students.
More is expected from an honors program participant; self-motivation and the ability to learn independently are essential skills for these students. This option is created to let students explore additional content outside of the regular material as well as to learn the material at a greater depth.
